The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (“University”) is established in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval of the Ministry of Education. It inherits the educational philosophy and academic systems of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is intended to evolve into a world class research university with strong Chinese cultural influence. It is committed to nurturing high end talents with global perspective, Chinese tradition and social responsibility.

At present, the University has programmes in science, engineering, economic management, and humanities and social science. Its long term goal is to recruit 11,000 domestic and international students, 7,500 of whom will be undergraduate students and 3,500 Masters or PhD students. The University is located at 2001, Longxiang Boulevard, Longgang District, Shenzhen, to the south of the Dayun Park and to the north of Longxiang Boulevard, occupying about one million square meters.

1. Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Management – The School of Management and Economics (Ref.1415/064/01)

 

The School of Management and Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen invites applications for faculty positions in all areas of management at the Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor levels with prospect for tenure.

Junior applicants should have (i) a PhD degree (by the time of reporting duty) in Management or related fields and (ii) high potential in teaching and research.

Applicants should be able to teach courses in IB, OB, or Strategy etc.

Candidates for Associate and Full Professor posts are expected to have demonstrated academic leadership and strong commitment to the highest standard of excellence. Appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially, leading to longer-term appointment or tenure later subject to mutual agreement. 3. Post-Doc Researchers - Economics, Finance and Accounting (Ref.2015/060/01)

The School of Management and Economics (SME) at Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) is launching a post-doc research program in Chinese economy and financial system. This program aims to foster researches on all issues related to the development of Chinese economy and financial system. Post-doc researchers in the program are expected to work with the program’s senior professor team comprising CUHK faculty from both Shenzhen and Hong Kong campuses, such as Wei Xiong, Jianfeng Yu, Kalok Chan, Joseph Fan, Michael Song, TJ Wong, Junsen Zhang, and Tianyu Zhang, as well as other senior professors across the world invited by CUHK (Shenzhen) to participate in the program. The program will offer opportunities to analyze unique research data from financial institutions, exchanges and government agencies in Shenzhen area. Selected post-doc researchers may also have the opportunity to spend a fraction of their time to do research in Princeton University.

The program is looking for applicants with the following qualification: 1) a recent PhD degree in related fields, such as economics, finance, and accounting; 2) a strong research interest in analyzing Chinese economy and financial system; 3) excellent skills in independent research, especially in empirical research; 4) familiarity with Chinese research data.

The main responsibility of a post-doc researcher in the program is to work on research projects of mutual interests to him/her and the designated supervisor. The program may also consider applications from advanced PhD students in the final year of completing their dissertation. Junior faculty with flexibility to stay in Shenzhen may also apply.

The program will offer an allowance, commensurate with qualification and experience, to cover living expense and other costs in Shenzhen.

4. Associate Dean, Graduate Programme (Ref.2015/064/01)

A potential candidate for the Associate Dean position should have an outstanding academic credential for fully appreciating the academic and educational developments in the relevant fields of the SME’s graduate programs, demonstrate capability of management and administration in higher education institutions, and possess long-term vision for the graduate program developments and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Associate Dean will be a member of the CUHK (Shenzhen) School of Management and Economics senior management team, reporting to the Dean of the SME. As the head of the SME graduate programs, the Associate Dean will provide academic leadership in terms of both graduate program development and recruitment of high caliber academic/non-academic staff of the programs.

Applicants should have (i) a Master degree or above in Physical Education or Sports Science; if major in Bachelor degree is not Physical Education or Sports Coaching, coach qualification of International Sports Association or at least 2ndgrade athlete qualification of General Administration of Sports in China will be required; (ii) relevant experience in teaching and coaching at University level; and (iii) knowledge of Chinese and English.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching physical education courses for undergraduates including international students (activities may include tennis, badminton, physical conditioning, basketball, volleyball, track & field, swimming, handball, soccer, table tennis, squash), as well as courses in fitness and health; (b) undertaking coaching during term time and summer months; and (c) assisting in organizing sports activities and in administrative duties related to physical education.

Applicants should have (i) a higher degree, at least at MPhil levelor above, in Chinese or a related field; (ii) proven record of teaching excellence at tertiary level; (iii) excellent communication skills in Putonghua and a good command of written and spoken English.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching University Chinese for all undergraduates, and possibly also other undergraduate courses related to Chinese culture within the University General Education Programme; (b) designing e-learning materials; and (c) assisting in curriculum development and administrative assignments.

A proven record of teaching excellence and experience in leading small group seminars would be an advantage.

Applicants should have (i) a higher degree, at least at MPhil level or above, in the humanities or social science; (ii) interest and preferably experience in teaching the humanities or social science as general education subjects at tertiary level; (iii) proficiency in Chinese and/or English; and (iv) the ability to handle classic texts in the humanities. A proven record of teaching excellence and experience in leading small group seminars would be an advantage.

The School of Humanities and Social Science at CUHK(SZ) invites applications for faculty positions in translation and interpreting studies and/or simultaneous Interpreting at the Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor levels with prospect for tenure.
Junior applicants should have (i) a PhD degree (by the time of reporting duty) in translation and interpreting studies and/or simultaneous Interpreting; and (ii) high potential in teaching and research.

应聘者须具备: (i) 985/211或国外院校理工科专业本科毕业,具有硕士或博士研究学位优先; (ii) 3年以上大学或研究图书馆学科馆员工作的成功经验,或大学毕业后全职研究工作经验(有国外研究型大学工作经验者优先考虑); (iii) 熟悉学科发展趋势,关注跟踪学科资源发展; (iv) 熟练使用专业数据库和工具书,掌握基本信息技术工具,编制简单程序工具; (v) 较好的交流技能和培训授课能力; (vi) 掌握读者和资源使用的统计数据的收集整理和分析工具和方法。

3. 网站主管 Web Supervisor (Ref.1415/063/01)

入职要求 :(1) 本科或本科以上学历,平面设计、网页运维专业优先,最好有海外学习经历; (2) 三年以上媒介工作经验及与网页管理相关的工作经验,熟悉微博、微信、贴吧、网站等媒介的管理; (3) 良好的中、英文校对能力; (4) 良好的网页平面设计知识和技能,能负责网站结构与内容的策划及组织和更新,能解决基本的网站突发问题及网站的监控和备份工作; (5) 有良好的团队协作精神和服务意识; (6) 具有摄影、摄像和视频编辑能力的人才优先。

工作职责 :(a)维护和更新学校的官方网站; (b)与IT部门一起解决学校官网的相关问题与故障; (c)协调学校各部门一起处理学校内网的维护与更新; (d)与传讯及公关关系处以及学校其他部门一起及时处理各项工作诉求;(e)对已发布新闻、资源数据整理分析,根据分析结果对传媒推广进行把控及调整,并形成分析报告; (f)及时与相关传媒积极沟通,进行危机公关预警及妥善处理; (g)其它由上级安排的工作。

4. 主管 Executive Officer for School of Science and Engineering (Ref.2016/012/01)

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor degree or higher; (ii) good command of both written and spoken language skills in English and Chinese; (iii) at least 3 year post-qualification executive or relevant experience in career development, preferably with tertiary institutions; (iv) good connection with enterprises’ HR department a definite advantage; (iv) ability and initiative to work independently.

Duties include (a) providing counseling on SSE undergraduate students’ career planning; (b) organizing internship, career workshops, study tour, and industry information sessions for SSE undergraduate students; (c) maintaining social connections with partner companies/employers; (d) other duties as prescribed by the supervisor.

5. 主管 Executive Officer - SSE (Ref.2016/013/01)

Duties include (a) assisting in SSE daily management; (b) handling academic inquiries from students; (c) organizing academic seminars, workshops and conferences; (d) coordinating exchange programmes; (e) other duties as prescribed by the supervisor.

6. Chief Engineer - Campus Development Office 校园发展总工程师 (Ref.2016/014/01)

职位要求:(1)土木工程、建筑学等房地产相关专业本科或以上学历;高级工程师职称或国家注册执业资格;(2)20年以上专业工作经验,有设计、投资方、顾问、监理、施工等二类以上经验的优先;(3)有效的人际沟通技巧;对内能管理10人左右的团队; (4)敬业,公正,廉洁,品德好;(5)熟练使用CAD、MICROSOFT RPOJECT、EXCEL、WORD等工程及办公软件。

工作职责: (1)负责校园建设项目的规划和设计管理、施工协调、质量监督等工作,是工程的技术责任人;(2)对外协调与政府工程部门的沟通工作,确保工程按时、按质、按量完成;监督服务团队(设计、顾问、施工等)的工作质 量、工作进度;维护学校利益; (3)对内管理各专业工程师,建设一支专业、敬业、高效、团结的工程队伍;(4)主持或参加重要工程会议,并监督落实;(5)协助大学策划校园发展计划;提出各种工程类可行性建议;(6)审核有关政府/顾问/承包商/其他有关方面之间往来的专业文件,对各类工程问题进行把关;(7)完成领导交办的其它工作。

7. 园林景观工程师(Ref.2016/015/01)

职位要求:(1)景观、园林或环境艺术等相关专业本科或以上学历;(2)8年以上专业工作经验;有园林专业设计院或大型园林施工单位5年以上经验;(3)熟悉常见植物及小品,有工地经验,能协助重点监造及施工图审核;(4)有规划设计能力,能协助审核复委托方景观设计图说;(5)有估算经验,能协助处理景观工程经费预算;(6)具有一定的手绘能力,熟练掌握AutoCAD、Photoshop、3Dmax, SketchUp 等制图软件及Office办公软件(word, excel, PowerPoint);(7)具备乐观,积极的态度,并具备良好沟通能力者。

工作职责:(1)是学校绿化工程的责任人,负责绿化工程的设计管理、施工管理、成本管理及维护指导;(2)与政府职能部门、设计院、顾问方、施工方沟通协调,确保工程按时、按质、按量完成;维护学校利益;(3)与其他专业工程师紧*配合,使绿化工程取得多快好省的效果;(4)跟进完工后之工程维保工作;(5)完成领导交办的其它工作。

8. 土建工程造价师 (Ref.2016/016/01)

职位要求:(1)成本、预算、物料等相关专业专科或以上学历;中级工程师职称或造价员执业资格优先;(2)8年以上专业工作经验,有造价咨询公司经验的优先;(3)精通土建工程、绿化工程的造价知识,了解安装工程的造价常识;(4)有效的人际沟通技巧;公正、廉洁、品德好;(5)熟练使用CAD, EXCEL, WORD等工程及办公软件;(6)英语具阅读能力。

工作职责:(1)负责校园各类工程建设或改造的成本控制;(2)对外与工程成本部门(如工务署、发改委、财委、设计方)紧*合作,争取学校投资的最大或最优;(3)对内审核学校建设的各项工程成本,确保投资的合理化;(4)与各专业工程师紧*配合,优化资金在各专业间的配置,争取资金分配、产出的最优;(5)参与制定校园工程资金的使用计划; (6)完成领导交办的其它工作。

工程师(弱电) IDC engineer (Low-voltage) (Ref.2016/019/01)

职位说明

应聘者须具备:

i.) 计算机或机电类相关专业背景 ,本科学历;

ii.) 五年及以上配电、UPS、精*空调机运维及智能建筑相关系统维护管理经验;

iii.) 三年及以上大型数据中心机房建设与维护管理经验,特别是机房基础设施设备运行管理经验(如大型供配电系统、精*空调系统等支撑设施);

iv.) 能够从全局角度综合分析数据中心基础设施运行方面存在的风险与问题,组织制订并实施优化方案;

v.) 能快速定位各类故障、提出改进意见,能够进行基础设施改造方案的编写及审核;

vi.) 熟悉数据中心等集成项目,产品包括:集装箱式数据中心、模块化数据中心、UPS、高压直流(HVDC)、空调系统、配电系统、机柜、监控系统、综合布线、机房安装等;

vii.) 熟悉常规智能化各子系统原理与调试(监理、门禁、报警、一卡通、BA等),至少精通两种常规子系统的原理与调试;

viii.) 熟悉IT运维管理体系者优先,如:ITIL、ISO20000等;

ix.) 有相关职业资格认证者优先考虑。

x.) 要求足够强的自学、独立思考和解决问题能力,主动学习工作相关业务知识;

h) 负责机房环境及各类设施设备硬件的资产管理、场地使用规划和强弱电管理,编制设备运行分析报告。
